Annalisa Cardellini successfully defended her PhD Thesis, "Modeling of Multi-Scale Phenomena in Nanoparticle Suspensions", with a cum laude designation that is reserved for the top 10% of all doctoral theses at Politecnico di Torino! Professor Blankschtein was a member of Annalisa's thesis committee and mentored her during her one-year stay with the DB Group at MIT.
