Congratulations to Professor Daniel Blankschtein on the publication of his new textbook titled, "Lectures in Classical Thermodynamics with an Introduction to Statistical Mechanics", which has just been published by Springer. The book is an adaptation of the lecture notes which Professor Blankschtein taught in the graduate-level  thermodynamics course 10.40 - Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics - in the Department of Chemical Engineering at MIT, and for which he was awarded the Annual Course X Graduate Student Council Outstanding Faculty Award a total of nine times since joining MIT. Again, congratulations to Professor Blankschtein on this outstanding achievement!
