Congratulations to Shuang Luo on securing a Senior Computational Materials Scientist position at SES AI (Solid Energy Systems) in Woburn, MA. During her postdoctoral research, she developed polarizable force fields to model the interactions of water molecules and ions with hexagonal boron nitride and boron nitride nanotubes. These force fields have been used to investigate a range of interfacial phenomena, including wetting, ion adsorption, and transport properties under nanoconfinement, providing deeper insight into solid–liquid interfaces.
We wish Shuang great success in her new position and look forward to her future contributions to materials science.
